3. Delhi to Agra
After breakfast, we check out and make our way to one of the world’s real must-see attractions Taj Mahal. Proudly located on the Yamuna River’s banks, Agra was the Mughal Empire’s capital until Emperor Shah Jahan moved it to Delhi. Agra’s imperial past can still be seen in much of the city’s modern architecture. Afternoon bicycle excursions through the nearby rural villages can be optional activities and a heritage-themed tour where you learn about the Mughal dynasty’s female members. Today, take an included trip to Old Jaipur and explore its traditional haveli homes and temples. You’ll meet local shopkeepers and artists later tea/snacks with the local host after your day tour. Choose to spend the remainder of the day on your exploring or from our variety of extra activities. Take a tour of the magnificent Amber Fort and later Nahargarh Fort, a gigantic, UNESCO-listed palace perched on a hilltop overlooking the city, or try your hands on cookery class or possibly a visit to the govt nearby school. Shrines, treasury structures, exotic palaces, and broken medieval statues are some common features. Major Highlights is the Vithala Temple, which has been reshaped over the ages by different monarchs, and the Hampi Bazaar, a historic marketplace that served as the centre of the city during the Viyajanagar Empire. Visit the Virupaksha Temple, which dates back to the seventh century and is the only operational temple in the city, while you’re here. 15. Hampi to Hassan
Breakfast and head towards Hassan, a nearly 1000-year-old constructed city by the Hoysala kingdom, too reigned many parts of close to 200 years. The city widely known as the abode to the goddess Hasanamba, is packed with very old Hindu Temples and their ruins. The city is not just the ruins and ancient Temples but it is also widely popular as a gateway to the old capitals of the Hosyalas, Belur and Halebidu. Choose to explore further individually the city and gaze at everyday life and try native cuisine at your will. Make sure not to miss the Gothic Shettihalli Church, which was constructed in the 1860s by French missionaries and is popularly known as “The Floating Church” because it is half submerged during the monsoon season.
