Aside from the aforementioned, we might request full payment in advance in some special situations, such as when making bookings for luxury trains, expensive hotels or Cruise tours during special periods of the year like Christmas and New Year’s time.

Please be aware of any hikes in taxes, fuel prices, tour guide fees, or monument/museum admission fees that may be implemented by the government. The same would be charged extra to your trip as it comes from the Indian Government.

9. Our responsibility

Ruhm accepts responsibility for the arrangements for your holidays, which are totally within our control and therefore, accepts liability to our customers for the negligence of the company staff. However, we would like to draw attention to the mentioned scenarios, which are outside our direct control or where, for some reason, we are not prepared to accept responsibility.

Under no circumstances will the Company be liable to the Client or any other traveller for: Any death or illness; personal injury; illness; delay resulting from loss; discomfort; higher costs; consequential loss and/or damage; or robberies, regardless of the cause.

Any action, inaction, or default by an independent contractor, another individual, or by a servant or agent working for them and involved in providing lodging, refreshments, a transportation facility, or any other service to the client or any companion travelling with them, regardless of the reason for the engagement. Trade agreements that are beyond our control—such as those resulting from natural disasters, labour disputes, the threat of war, riots, civil unrest, terrorist activities, transportation-related technical issues, extreme weather, airport and seaport closures, and similar events—or that are the result of unique and unforeseen circumstances—do not entail liability against our company.

There is no insurance coverage in place at RUHM to pay for costs associated with an illness, accident, theft-related loss, or any other circumstance. It is recommended that visitors look for these insurance plans back home. The client assumes complete liability for all baggage and personal belongings at all times.

10. Policy associated for the Hotel Check-in / Check-out

Please be aware that most hotels have check-in and check-out times of 1200–1400 hours (noon) and 1000–1200 hours (morning). Consequently, the cost of the tour does not cover the cost of early or late check-in or check-out. If necessary, we can always request an early check-in or late check-out, but we cannot guarantee it. That is dependent on room availability and hotel rules. We will reserve a different hotel of a comparable calibre if the previously stated hotel is not available.

11. Complaints

While we make every effort to give customers on any of our trips superior service and a hassle-free experience, occasionally things go wrong with the arrangements. If you have any issues, please talk to or let your trip manager know. They will try their best to address the issue right away. You can talk to us whenever the situation requires, around the clock.

RUHM has the right to update this website with revised policies from time to time. You can check if you’re happy with any changes by periodically visiting this page. This policy came into force from October, 2023.
