Significance of visiting Chandratal lake is often associated with Ancient Hindu Mythology of Mahabharata, and it is believed by the Himalayan people that “Yudhisthara” powerful king of those times also called son of “God Dharma” means “Righteousness” was taken away from this very location by the “Indra” God of the Thunder” to the heaven. Visitor comes here often seeks blessings and meditate near the river for hours to feel the connection as this place has the tremendous heavenly vibration and one who goes in to the meditative state here, brings meditator to another spiritual realm as reported by many. After sunset, under the moon, one could transcend easily if the person is spiritually awake. This place is fully charged with the celestial energies in the fool moon time and many witnessed stars shaped objects flying in the lake and also leaving the lake rocketing straight to the sky.
